What?
Robotics is an emerging field in today’s life. To introduce you to the field of robotics, we present Robotrix, a 24-hour hackathon conducted by the IEEE NITK Student Branch in association with the IEEE NITK RAS Student Chapter. It presents you with interesting problem statements to ensure a fun-filled learning experience. In addition to the hackathon, a workshop will also be conducted before the final event to enhance your experience with us!
Who?
The hackathon is open to 1st and 2nd year B.Tech students from all over India! All enthusiastic students, irrespective of branch are welcome to apply and participate in the hackathon.

Who are all eligible to apply for the event?
1st or 2nd year B.Tech students from any engineering college in India are eligible to participate.
Is there a registration fee?
No registration fees for NITK students
No registration fees for teams with at least one IEEE member
A registration fee of Rs.150 for teams with all non-NITK or non-IEEE members
Is there any branch specification to apply?
No branch specification. All enthusiastic students are welcome to apply.
The preliminary test is on Hackerearth. Is it a coding test?
The questions contain aptitude, linear algebra and some python questions.
How many members in a team?
A maximum of 2 members are allowed per team.
Is it necessary to have an IEEE member in a team comprising non-NITK students?
No, Check eligibility criteria.
How can we prepare for the event?
Brushing up on your aptitude skills and Matlab would be helpful.
What is the selection criteria for the hackathon?
Qualifying the preliminary round is mandatory to participate in the Hackathon.
Should I clear the preliminary round to attend the workshop?
No, it is not necessary.
